Satnav mount disguise     
 

After modifying a TomTom permanent docking mount

I fitted it to my car.

A toyota AYGO.



Satnav mounts are usually removeable.

This is permanently advertising the fact
that there MAY be a Satnav in the car.

(It is ALWAYS removed).

During a chance visit to a garden centre..........

Behold, plastic fruit.



After cutting through the thin plastic outer coating,
The inside is Polystyrene.

A couple of minutes' carving with a sharp knife.

The inside was flaky & dusty.

A lighted match paid a visit to cauterise the inside.



Slipped into place, the disguise is complete.

No interest to Satnav thieves.

Possible interest to starving tramps though.

I will have to live with this unfortunate side-effect.
